JOB DESCRIPTION
Framework Studio is seeking an experienced Producer, a passionate leader, and a thoughtful communicator who can execute the Creative and Production vision from pre-production to wrap.
Framework has been in business for nearly two decades and works with major Movie Studios, TV Networks, Streaming Platforms, and National Brands. Our portfolio includes film promos, cross-promotional branded content, photoshoots, live events, and other types of advertising and marketing production.
As a Producer you will be overseeing the entire production process, communicating between Client teams, Agents, and all Production departments to ensure that a project's timeline is met and comes on, or under, budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include management, creating schedules and budgets, securing resources, connecting and collaborating with all departments, and updating documentation and assets.
Experience on both non-union, as well as, union production is essential. Additional consideration will be given to those candidates with TV Network / Movie Studio experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with all Framework departments (Accounting, Client team, Creatives, Post-Production).
Estimate costs, and prepare budgets and bids accordingly.
- Hire crew, vendors, talent, etc. and continually expand the existing crew and vendor roster.
- Negotiate rates and contracts.
- Actualize budgets and reconcile them with the PO Log. Ensure invoices are submitted in a timely manner.
Supervise the entire production process:
- Track projects' progress and lead clear and frequent communication of timelines, status updates, internal meetings, and prioritization
of work with Production Team members.
- Maintain documents with the assistance (as available) of Production Manager / Production Coordinator / PA.
- Facilitate and organize production calls with key players (kickoff calls, check-ins and Client feedback, pre-production meetings, etc.)
- Ensure all deliverables are of the highest quality and address client feedback.
Balance competing priorities on several projects.
- Assess initial requests for information, project parameters, scheduling, and creation of all deliverables against established deadlines.
- Ensure creative concepts are followed and assets are delivered on time and on budget.
- Track progress and make sure production is on schedule and on/ under budget.
Lead and Mentor junior team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
Passion for all things production!
- Proactive team-leader and effective communicator with the ability to interact with different types of personalities.
- Outstanding organization and project management skills.
Strong technical knowledge in all aspects of Production.
Experience working with Brands and Entertainment Clients:
- Ability to maintain a comfortable, calm, and collected demeanor in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Bonus points for an interest in sports, and/or a passion for DC and Marvel!
5+ years of producing experience in TV/ Film production, Advertising, or Creative studio environment.
Ability to travel domestically or internationally.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Film, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Showbiz Budgeting software, Wrapbook Payroll, Slack, Outlook, and G Drive preferred.
