Framework Studio prides itself on being a creative team for all film marketing needs. From creative ideation to full service production and polishing content with our post production team, we have it covered. We are looking for an Office Manager to join our team!
The Office Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the office environment. They make sure that the office runs efficiently and that employees have the supplies and environment they need to be successful. They also coordinate with administrative and support staff, interface with property management, and work with internal teams to schedule services from outside vendors.
Beyond the day-to-day running of the office, Office Managers also work with senior management to design and implement office policy around both Covid safety and best operating practices. In the Covid pandemic they are essential to create an office environment that is clean and safe - without hindering the organization's systems.
A good Office Manager ensures offices operate smoothly and cost-effectively. Their tasks include:
- Overseeing the work of all office employees to ensure they work productively and meet deadlines and company standards.
- Answering telephone calls and emails from vendors and clients and directing them to relevant staff.
- Relaying property management notices to staff.
- Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationery, furniture, appliances and electronics as required; in some cases, coordinating with building management to schedule deliveries.
- Organizing maintenance companies to keep the office clean and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order.
- Reporting office progress to senior management and working with them to improve office operations and procedures.
- Fielding questions and concerns from staff and working to provide answers and solutions.
The main goal of an Office Manager is to ensure that the office operates smoothly and efficiently. This requires a heavy emphasis on organization and attention to detail. The Office Manager coordinates with every department to make sure their needs are met and that procedures are followed.
As Framework moves to a hybrid schedule, the Office Manager will be crucial in helping the Director of Operations keep the staff organized and clear on when they will be in the office vs WFH. While the role currently focuses on Covid-related policies, as Framework expands, the Office Manager's roles will also expand. Special projects will include Internship Recruitment, Ongoing Employee Relations, Office Scheduling for company's new hybrid system, etc. The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable being external facing (clients/vendors), and organized.
