We are looking for a Vice President Current – Fox Alternative Entertainment with experience running Unscripted at a network, studio, or production company. If you have experience creating and managing production line infrastructure and overseeing development from initial conception and development, to pilots, series, and all that goes with it, read on. Our Vice President Current – Fox Alternative Entertainment will work on a variety of big formats (documentary, game show, music, animation, awards, red carpet, etc.,) managing Budgets, Logistics, Business, and Labor Relation liaisons, and much more.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee all projects in Development, Reporting to SVP, Production
• Manage, track and report Overall Development Expenditures
• Create and manage the overall Development calendar
• Liaise with BA on all contract needs associated with Development, work with Execs, Finance and Accounting to administer milestone payments, options, etc. accordingly
• Creation of Development Budgets, Calendars and other materials as needed and applicable (POC, Presentations, Pilots and proposed Series)
• Source and hire production personnel where applicable for projects in Development
• Identify necessary resources associated with projects in Development (eg. Locations, Stages/Studios, Vendors, Production Talent, etc.)
• Negotiate agreements with miscellaneous production personnel and vendors as pertains to projects in Development
• Directly manage certain Development projects as needed and when appropriate
• Manage the delivery of Development Materials and Assets
• Work with Execs and SVP, Production to ensure a smooth transition from Development into Current
• Support SVP, Production as needed in other areas as available and assigned, including but not limited to further developing studio infrastructure, Developing and Implementing Asset Management program for the studio, assisting in the development and implementation of Support Services and Facilities as needed by Studio (post-production, clearances, etc.)
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 10 years experience at an established production company, studio, or network producing Unscripted shows
• Proven experience managing big format shows (music, cooking, contests, awards, red carpet, etc.,)
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and building necessary production organizational infrastructure
• Knowledge and experience working with Unions, Union Staff and Labor Relations
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to navigate network development process and production line with minimal supervision
• Ability to travel, be on set, and work long hours as needed
