Responsibilities:
Create and update the Daily Production ''DP'' document which includes tags/lengths/ratings/titles/etc for all promos going to finishing. Maintain On-Air Pro Database, which keeps records of every promo version created and all of its coordinating details, and which is used to create work orders and slates and our daily schedule. Update Palantir Lyra (on-air traffic system) with promos that are approved for air and alert on-air planning. Collaborate with On-Air Pro/VOD/Net Ops as to what promos are cleared for on-air and VOD placement. Deliver On-Air promos to Net Ops via VIZ (our MAM database).Create work orders for Media 401 to upload promos to Level 3 for Affiliates. Liaison with National Media/Vizeum/Synergy/Affiliates/On-Air Planning on a daily basis. Maintain ''Show Files'' database.
• Create & update Daily Production paperwork – reacting to numerous schedule changes throughout the day.
• Maintain On-Air Pro database and create workorders.
• Update Palantir Lyra with approved promos for air and deliver on-air promos to Net Ops via VIZ.
• Liaison with network operations to ensure proper materials are going on the air and to VOD and reacting to issues (ie; quality control.)
• Maintain show files on a daily basis and liaison with National Media/Vizeum/ Synergy/ Affiliates/ On-Air Planning.
Qualifications:
• Four year college degree/Knowledge of television production terminology and processes is extremely helpful.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written) a must. Must be able to communicate precise information clearly and accurately.
• Word, Outlook, Excel, On-Air Pro
• Basic math skills/Use of a calculator. Must be able to tabulate time code.
• Time management skills and attention to detail are crucial.
• Ability to multi-task and reprioritize at a moment's notice.
• Ability to complete tasks within deadlines, and to work well under pressure.
• Ability to manage large work load.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on new tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Traffic and/or Post Production experience a plus.
