WTTG/WDCA – Senior Promotion Producer Fox TV, Washington DC, is seeking a seasoned creative services producer to conceptualize, write and produce dynamic promotional spots that reinforce and expand our stations brand and image. The qualified candidate must work effectively within specific time constraints with producers, department management, newsroom and station personnel in a fast-paced, large market environment. The senior promotion producer is an essential team member in the Creative Services Department. The individual should have a proven track record for overseeing and leading projects from concept to completion with emphasis on producing topical & image campaigns across a variety of platforms. Create, develop and produce the on-air look for WTTG/WDCA. This may include writing and producing all Image campaigns, station IDs, News topical promos, digital/online promotional ads & content, Radio ads, cable and outside media, Custom syndicated show and block promos, End-panels and lower third graphics, VO Tags, Operate or have a working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and the entire Adobe Creative Suite. Work with Promotion Manager & VP of Creative Services to develop & execute overall.
The Ideal candidate must have strong creative writing & communication skills, creative ability to develop campaigns that will cut through the clutter. Minimum 2 years broadcast experience (or equivalent work experience) in a top 50 market, 4-year college degree in broadcasting, communications or marketing. Knowledge of all aspects of producing as well as proficiency with Adobe Premiere and the entire Adobe Creative Suite. Must work well independently as well as part of a cohesive team. Weekends, holidays and varied hours required. Local travel may be required. Be willing to obtain a local driver's license and maintain a clean motor vehicle report (MVR).
