Fox Networks Group are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Senior/Lead Motion Graphics Designer to join our UK On-Air Creative Services department based in London.
Reporting to the Creative Director, this is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of our multi award-winning team on upcoming promos, socials, TV sponsorships, brands and global, all media campaigns.
You'll work across FOX, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo People and our YourTV freeview channels, both in the UK and internationally – plus anything else which comes our way!
Background:
The UK Creative Services team is FNG's European Hub for National Geographic Channels and our local UK FOX, and YourTV channels. We have a broad range of creative output from promos to programming, and blue-chip documentary to big-ticket drama.

Who We Want:
You'll have a substantial motion graphics or video effects background with a cracking reel. Experience in a professional, on-air environment is essential as is the ability to lead creatively and manage others.
International market experience would be ideal, but not essential. Creatively, you will be able to impress, with evidence of high level original campaigns and work across a number of genres, and should have their finger on the pulse of the motion graphics world.
Purpose of role:
• Manage the in-house on-air graphics team and produce motion graphics, branding and animation for the department as required. Also, maintaining and evolving the on-air graphic look across all brands.
• Produce high quality motion graphics for the department as required in a fast-paced environment
• Generate ideas as directed by Creative Director for use on–air and other departments
• Work with Producers to implement these ideas into their work
• Work independently to brief and on time
• Work alongside the off-air team to produce cohesive campaigns.
• Create, Maintain and update brand graphic packages; adapt and improve as necessary
• Push creative boundaries at every opportunity
• Maintain efficient workflows and effective channels of communication
• Great attention to detail
• Stay abreast of the latest industry software developments and techniques
• Manage in-house and freelance design team.
• Be able to pitch and present ideas as needed
• A self starter capable of generating ideas from scratch.
• Capable of Leading on air creative campaigns
• Mastering and finalising promos
• Extensive experience working in broadcast and forward thinking creating social media assets
Qualifications
& Experience
• Excellent Knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator & Cinema 4D.
• A good understanding of video editing, specifically Premiere.
• An excellent level of technical competency.
• A real team ethos and a collaborative approach to work
• Confident in managing others and leading creative teams.
• The ability to work to a brief and deliver on time and on budget.
• Good pitching skills
• Great attention to detail; able to deliver final projects accurately and to established templates.
• Fantastic communication and team skills.
• The ability to take a proactive and sometimes independent approach to challenges.
• Clear evidence of working creatively within a TV brand.
