TMZ is looking for an experienced Reporter / Producer to join our news desk team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enterprising stories in the pop culture universe. This position requires someone who is adept at investigative reporting and breaking news. The ability to forge solid relationships with sources and react quickly in a deadline-driven environment is important.
Responsibilities:
• Pitching ideas for unique stories or angles to existing stories
• Keeping a finger on the pulse of tending news
• Strong telephone/communication skills
• Developing contacts
Requirements:
• 3 -5 years' experience in covering news
• Working well with staff
• Knowledge of social media and the ability to monitor a variety of platforms

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $78,000.00-87,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
