Post Production Graphics Maintenance Engineer - Nabet 53
The Post Production Graphics Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of all areas within our Creative Services Graphics department, IT, and post-production equipment supporting this business unit within Fox Sports. This Engineer should have strong verbal/written communication skills and is responsible for documenting necessary changes to the environment as well as reporting daily tasks in a ticketing/trouble logging system. Additionally, Engineers are required to perform emergency & preventative maintenance on all systems and to train fellow engineers or operators as needed.
This position will be filled as a Nabet 53 Union Representative. This position will also require an open flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Advanced troubleshooting knowledge of the latest Adobe CC suite applications
• Advanced troubleshooting knowledge of 3D software packages, including Maya, C4D, and 3D Studio Max and Autodesk 3D
• Experience with scripting and automating pipeline management tools specific to Post-Production workflows
• Experience with render farms, distributed render setup and operation including but not limited to Thinkbox Deadline management software
• Basic understanding of programming languages including but not limited to Java, Python
• Understanding of Broadcast Video codecs and formats
• Ability to provide written & verbal reports or instructions to peers, management, and clients
• Capable of following and composing process and procedure documentation, training users on complex topics
• Has the proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision; must be a self-motivated self-starter that can initiate ideas

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Studio or Remote production environment with automated graphics systems
• Knowledge of storage environments including SAN, NAS and HSM File Systems
• Experience with archiving and backup workflows, including LTO and Cloud web services
• Experience with VizRT Artist, Viz Engine, Viz Libero, Viz Pilot, Viz Trio utilized in a live production environment
• Cisco Networking Certification coursework completed
