On-Air Coordinator

The Fox Networks Engineering and Operations Group is looking for an enthusiastic On-Air Coordinator to create schedules and handle all aspects of our live programming!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality control over On-Air Programming.
• This position coordinates all aspects of our live programming, from coordinating with the show, to Assistant Directing the live shows from the broadcast center.
• Oversees transitions between day parts, such as the transition between Sports and Prime.
• Partners with team, and responsible to create schedules to send to affiliates and ensures captioning is booked for all sporting events.
• This position provides coverage for the Program Services coordinator, taking in deliveries from shows and maintaining correct information about each show.

Qualifications:

• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalency. A Bachelor's degree and specific experience in coordinating television broadcasting work is preferred. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Superior oral and written communication skills are required.
• Good mathematical and superior reasoning skills are required.
• Good computer skills are required.
• Good organizational and project management skills are needed. Good computer skills, including experience with email, the internet and various word processing programs are required. Proven leadership and supervisory skills are necessary. The ability to multitask and work effectively under daily time constraints in a high pressure environment is required.

The Fox Networks Engineering and Operations Group (NE&O) is the group that is singularly responsible for the receipt, uplink, delivery and distribution of all networks wholly or partially owned by FOX, Inc. NE&O is a 24/7 mission critical operation which supports business units in seven distinct locations - three (3) in Los Angeles, California (Pico, Playa del Rey and 1440 Sepulveda); one (1) in The Woodlands, TX; one (1) in San Francisco, CA; one in Charlotte, NC; and one (1) in New York, NY.
