Part Time Unpaid Internship
FOX Technology is currently seeking an intern to help develop of an insights-driven strategic plan for diversity and inclusion within the technology organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Use analytical techniques and how to leverage research to draw insights on how to make our people process smarter and more efficient.
• Help evaluate software applications that utilize machine learning and AI for talent management
• Conduct ongoing research on best practices and recommend strategies for continuous improvement of diversity initiatives
• Support employee engagement in volunteering events, mentoring, and informational forums
• Strengthen the dialogue across the technology organization around the topics of Diversity and Inclusion
• Create PowerPoint presentations that report the monthly activity of the department
• Update internal Slack channels to create awareness of technology programs
• Coordinate logistics for events, manage RSVP lists, work with facilities and operations
• Maintain excel grid of current employee resource group members
• Assist department with special projects as delegated
• Represent the department at various events through attendance, networking, and public- speaking
• Archive all events and diversity projects, both physical and digital files
Qualifications
• Currently studying data science, mathematics, statistics or linguistics
• Interested in performing research and analysis on software tools to help drive diversity within the technology organization
• This role will work with a lot of data so any experience with excel and data visualization tools would be preferred.
• The internship will provide the candidate with experience in Tableau and data visualization tools along with a core research on talent management in technology.
To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
