FOX Sports is looking for an Executive Assistant to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. As the Executive Assistant, you will support the President and Chief Operating Officer and the Supervisor/Office Manager of the President. You must be accustomed to supporting high-level executives and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
This opportunity should be viewed as providing invaluable experience and contacts to better prepare a future sports or entertainment business executive. In this role, you will effectively balance changing demands, a dynamic schedule, and function well under pressure. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will have the opportunity to build collaborative relationships with other executives and assistants throughout the company. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide administrative support to the President and Chief Operating Officer and the Supervisor/Office Manager-- including heavy calendar management/scheduling, meeting planning, and general office duties
• Answer all incoming calls for the President and ensure that messages are accurate and delivered in a timely fashion
• Maintain appointment schedule
• Arrange travel plans for the executive when directed by the Supervisor/Office Manager
• Prepare expense reports
• Coordinate meetings
• Work on special projects as needed
• Other general office responsibilities as required
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
• Ensure office supplies are organized and well-stocked, and order supplies as needed via the internet in accordance with company policy
• Support the planning and execution of company events, meetings, and activities as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 1+ years of sports or entertainment experience and administrative assistant experience
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to prioritize, organize, and establish administrative procedures and work under pressure
• Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and interact with high-level executives
• Ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented
• Professional presence, good judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER:
• Bachelor's degree, and an MBA is a plus
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $23.50-31.25 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
