Freelance Job
The Freelance Ad Sales Events Assistant is a full-time freelance position responsible for supervising and coordinating all aspects of small events and providing a Project Lead for larger events. In this exciting new position, the Freelance Ad Sales Events Assistant will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of various areas within the events industry which may include entertainment research, merchandise and gifts, and help to create and conceptualize collateral materials. In addition, the Freelance Ad Sales Events Assistant will provide administrative support to the Ad Sales Events team.
This position requires some travel
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing the development, execution, and implementation of every facet of small events
• Develop working budgets based on client feedback
• Responsible for overall look of their events
• Developing structure and flow of the event
• Understanding production needs and identifying appropriate partner resources to implement production-related elements
• Creates and manages Production & Onsite Schedules
• Manage vendors onsite
• Post-event closure including vendor payments, final budget, and billouts
• Guest list management & Registration
• Activity research & coordination
• Hotel: Rooming List
• Offsite dinners, parties & catering
• Event ticket assignment & distribution
• Transportation
• Processing Department Amex
• Order & Maintain office supplies & storage closet
• Create & maintain PTO & Event Calendars
• Research newest gifting and event trends
• Venue comparisons research
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Prior internship experience in events or an events-related field, or hospitality
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication & organizational skills
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Willingness to learn event management software: Cvent or similar.
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, business, or related field
