Fox Networks, Engineering and Operations is looking for an experienced TD for live studio productions and the Fox Studios in Los Angeles, CA. Candidates will have knowledge and working experience with the Sony 8000 and Ross Vision switchers.
Responsibilities
• Switch between video sources in a live multi-camera studio environment.
• Oversee the technical design of each assigned production by building and storing show templates, video transitions & special effects (cuts, dissolves, fades, etc.)
• Test all equipment for proper operation.
• Perform tech checks with the camera utilities on the stage floor, audio mixers, graphics ops and video playback.
• Documents procedures and notes related to assigned productions.
• Report technical issues to the Engineering & Operations groups.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years' experience working in a live or live-to tape multi-camera studio environment.
• Knowledge of Sony 8000 HD switcher, Ross Vision switcher, Abekas Mira and DNF manager.
• Be available for weekdays, weekends, holidays and work flexible hours with reliable attendance.
• Must be a team player, work well with others and excel under pressure.
• This is a NABET daily hire position and requires membership in the Union.

The Fox Networks Engineering and Operations Group (NE&O) is the group that is singularly responsible for the receipt, uplink, delivery and distribution of all networks wholly or partially owned by FOX, Inc. NE&O is a 24/7 mission critical operation which supports business units in six distinct locations –three (3) in Los Angeles, California (Pico, Playa del Rey and 1440 Sepulveda);one (1) in The Woodlands, TX; one (1) in San Francisco, CA; and one (1) in New York, NY. Overall, NE&O has over 1000 full-time equivalent employees. Candidates who seek employment with NE&O must be available to work 24/7.
