Responsibilities
include performing all HR-generalist duties for the Fox owned-and-operated television station in Philadelphia, PA. Generalist duties include but are not limited to directing and managing the Station's employee relations and employment programs and initiatives, recruiting/applicant tracking, performance management and performance evaluation administration, FMLA, worker's compensation, policy administration, and affirmative action compliance and monitoring. Knowledge and experience working with the OFCCP regulations, a plus. Candidate will work in concert with Station management and Corporate Human Resources to ensure that all employment regulatory requirements are met and Company policies are adhered to. Other duties as deemed appropriate and assigned.
Required skill set includes effective written/verbal communications, creative problem solving, conflict management and resolution, and expert computer (Word, Excel, HRIS: Workday, JDE/PeopleSoft) and data management skills. In addition to the important strategic role of this position, it is also a high volume and hands-on administrative position requiring strong organization skills. Must also have strong leadership skills and the ability to develop solid collaborative relationships with all levels of staff. Prior experience working with collective bargaining agreements preferred. Must be able to multi-task with excellent attention to detail and maintain strict confidentiality. Discretion in handling confidential material and information is required.
Position requires at least five (5) years HR Management experience; experience working in a one-person HR department a plus. A Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Organizational Development or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
