We're hiring a Digital Content Creator to be part of our Group Content Team (GCT), serving all 16 FTS markets across the country. Reporting to the Digital Content Director, the Digital Content Creator will be laser-focused on telling stories that matter most to users, and will also play an important role in creating content to support key FOX initiatives.

The person we're looking for lives and breathes digital news and information and is driven by an intense passion for storytelling. If that's you, we need you on our squad.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Create news and event-based content impacting users in all markets, including text stories, photos/graphics, live streaming content, breaking news, and social media elements. Cover mix of important national, international, breaking, and viral stories. Partner with other FOX business units to receive elements and create content that supports important company initiatives. Handle communication with stations and other internal partners around content related to strategic initiatives, while proactively looking for opportunities to improve workflows. Ensure content meets group standards. Monitor real-time analytics. Serve as eyes, ears and voice of group. Mentor digital interns. Other duties as deemed necessary and assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years experience developing and publishing unique content, including news, for digital and social platforms preferred. BA/BS degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications or related field with emphasis on digital publishing. Experience leading group projects or taking lead role in group a plus. Superior news judgement. Impeccable writing and copy editing skills. Overwhelming attention to detail. Thrive under deadline pressure. Stellar communication skills. Social media expert. Proficient in content management systems, video publishing, live streaming, and digital analytics tools. Video and photo editing experience (Adobe products a plus). Schedule may include weekends. Will consider remote work from any FTS market.
