Digital Commerce Production Assistant

The Digital Production Assistant, Commerce will provide support to the editorial commerce team, including facilitating the production of freelancer commerce content into our CMS. Due to the content production duties of this role, it is preferred that candidates have an editorial background and familiarity with AP style and SEO best practices, preferably in journalism, commerce, marketing or other related fields.

In this role, the Digital Production Assistant, Commerce will also support and facilitate tasks of the larger editorial commerce team. This role offers the opportunity to learn about affiliate commerce and to write and update commerce articles. Additional responsibilities include analyzing metrics, trends/market research and presenting key takeaways/findings to internal stakeholders.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Intake commerce articles from freelancer pool and directly facilitate their timely production in the CMS (including images, format, links, etc.), ensuring editorial and SEO best practices are followed
• Work closely with and support the editorial commerce team in daily editorial production tasks
• Participate in team meetings to help strategize editorial coverage, optimize user experience and revenue generation, including for tentpole shopping events like Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
• Provide support in partnership management
• Opportunity to pitch, write and update commerce articles
• Research opportunities to grow commerce partnerships via content coverage
• Assist with content-related cross-FOX initiatives

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Experience in journalism or content-related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including application of AP style
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills, meticulous and consistent follow up
• Knowledge of analytics platforms (Ex: Adobe Analytics, Chartbeat, etc.)
• Experience with WordPress
• Experience working with SEO

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $21.00-26.45 per hour for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $17.50-22.00 per hour for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
