Full Time Job
Coordinator of Post Production is responsible for the scheduling of over 120 represented employees. Coordinator of Post Production is responsible for the communications between Fox NE&O Programming, cable networks and production companies for the oversight of the programming workflow and delivery of the assets of Fox cable network channels. Coordinator must meet tight deadlines and be proactive in anticipating changes and problem solving with minimum supervision. Must be available to provide weekend and off hour coverage. This is a 24 hour Broadcast Network.
Responsibilities
• Liaise with clients of Fox NE&O to create weekly schedules and daily adjustments as required for represented employees based on preliminary templates, workload and/or personnel availability, and variations utilizing ScheduAll, Excel and Word applications.
• Interpret client personnel requirements and schedule appropriate technical personnel ensuring that the client's projects can be completed.
• Oversee the workflow for Fox NE&O cable network partners for the delivery, QC, and distribution of program media. Workflow includes ensuring all delivery dates are met.
• Communicate daily with the cable network clients and production companies regarding show delivery, QC reports and show timings.
• Update, verify and distribute show information such as Ratings, Broadcast Standards & Practices notes, ring in and ring outs e.g. to internal clients and business partners.
• Create and process work orders for all billable work. Receive information from clients directly or via written work order. Check work orders and timecards for accuracy.
• Perform additional administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
• College degree preferred.
• Two years experience in a business environment, preferably in television production/post-production.
• Excellent computer skills and solid understanding of the entertainment industry.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent phone skills. Needs to have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with all levels of people including management, co-workers and daily hires.
• Must be able to calculate hours, shifts and costs.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Applications required. Knowledge of ScheduALL or other scheduling software preferred but not necessary.
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in an always changing fast-paced environment.
