Associate Producer (Soccer)
The FOX Soccer / World Cup department at FOX Sports is seeking an experienced candidate to take on the role of Associate Producer. We are looking for someone with experience working on live television productions, who works well in a team environment and has strong communication skills as well as a passion and understanding for the game of soccer. The Associate Producer will work on both live productions and in a post-production role across various international soccer events like the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA European qualifiers and European Championship, the CONMEBOL Copa America, the CONCACAF Gold Cup, and more.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work alongside show producers and senior management in the construction and preparation of live shows and rundowns
• Work in a tape room during a live show setting, assign tape edits, oversee the cutting of highlights, player packages, and the turnaround of live player warmups
• Book and manage multi-camera shoots, and work alongside photographers and directors of photography all with a strong editorial and visual sense
• Pitch and develop editorial ideas, and see those plans through post-production until they make air
• Communicate with various leagues and international organizations including FIFA, UEFA, and CONCACAF in order to acquire assets, footage, graphics, and media to enhance broadcasts
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 4+ years of live television production experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a high-intensity live television setting
• Strong understanding of EVS tape systems, INews, Google IAS, and other media management tools
• Understanding of live broadcast graphics, particularly VIZ and Content Pilot, and how they are used to enhance a live soccer broadcast
• Acute understanding of post-production workflows, with a keen eye for editing and the ability to work comfortably alongside others in an edit bay
• Flexible schedule and an understanding that soccer is a global game played in many countries, time zones, and differing days of the week

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $25.75-34.75 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
