How do I hire a Graphic Artist? ARTIST/ANIMATOR (Full Time Regular): Experienced 2D/3D broadcast designer needed for in-house unit to fulfill graphic demands for FOX owned-and-operated TV Stations. Qualified applicants will conceptualize, design and create graphics and animations for news, promotion, social media/web, sports, weather, sales and programming as assigned. Candidates must have 2 to 3 years' experience as a 2D or 3D designer/animator with a preferred experience with both. Should be proficient with one or more of the following software programs: Adobe Creative Cloud suite with emphasis on After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere; 3D software, preferably Maxon Cinema 4D although knowledge of Maya, 3DSMax and Lightwave acceptable. Exposure or experience with industry standard plug-in effects platforms not limited to but including: Boris Sapphire, Red Giant Trapcode Suite, Boris Final Effects, Video Co-Pilot Elements 3D and Greyscalegorilla plug-ins for Cinema 4D.
Must have strong design skills and judgment and be able to generate a project from concept to completion and/or work in concert with others. Excellent interpersonal skills are required as well as the ability to successfully work in a team environment with a positive attitude and professional work ethic. Should be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and to prioritize under tight deadlines.
Expected to be flexible and able to work all hours and shifts as well as being punctual respective to assigned scheduling. A degree in Design is preferred, although range and scope of reel/portfolio or work experience may equate.
