Key Production Accountant for x3 Game Show slate shooting back-to-back in Atlanta, GA

Large television studio looking for a local Production Accountant and Payroll/1st Assistant for syndicated game shows shooting in Atlanta, GA. We are scheduled to shoot 3 different game shows back-to-back-to-back, and looking to carry a team for the entire run.

Incentive experience a MUST

Key Production Accountant - main responsibilities include working with Executive-in-Charge and VP of Finance on the approved budget, keeping cost reports up-to-date, keeping a clean trial balance with various bank accounts, applicable billback accounts, intercompany cost transfers and episodic cost tracking. Familiarity with zero balance accounts a plus. Also will be tasked with overseeing the 1st/payroll accountant to ensure a complete workflow with checks and balances for tax incentive tracking. Candidate needs to be willing to process AP and payroll as necessary.

Qualified candidates should have experience with non-union, IATSE, and SAG-AFTRA payroll; as well as the Georgia tax incentive - this is a requirement

Software experience should include familiarity with Cast & Crew PSL+ and digital payroll platforms (Start+, Hours+, Studio+), Excel, Bank of America CashPro and Movie Magic Budgeting. Digital processing and filing is a MUST, knowledge with Box is a plus.

1st Assistant/Payroll Accountant - main responsibilities include setting up vendor accounts, effective tracking of purchase orders, entering high volume of POs/Invoices in PSL. This position will also handle payroll for ~80 union and non-union crew during shoot weeks and a lighter staff/crew during hiatus weeks

This position will work directly with the Key Production Accountant to maintain PSL free field coding for tax incentive tracking (of high importance)

This position will also manage the 2nd assistant accountant to oversee the digital filing process based on corporate requirements; experience with digital processing & filing is a MUST, knowledge with Box is a plus

These are local positions in Atlanta, GA and paid in accordance with Local 161. All salaries negotiable and commensurate with experience
