EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, SPECIAL PROJECTS (Full-Time, Regular)
Tampa Bay's leading news station is seeking an experienced Executive Producer to spearhead our innovative content creation. If you are a top-tier producer with cutting-edge writing skills and a keen eye for compelling content, we want you on our team.
The Executive Producer of Special Projects will oversee the development, production, and distribution of high-quality content across multiple platforms. This role requires a visionary leader with strong creative instincts, exceptional project management abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively. The EP will play a crucial role in shaping our station's content strategy, ensuring all productions align with our brand values and meet audience expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and ensure the timely production of high-quality content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellence.
• Foster a collaborative, creative work environment that promotes innovation.
• Ensure all content adheres to editorial standards and regulatory requirements.
• Guide and support producers in crafting outstanding newscasts.
• Work with reporters to develop memorable, impactful stories.
• Strategically target audiences to enhance web and social media engagement.

Qualifications:
• Minimum five years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven ability to lead under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of the production process, from development to post-production.
• Previous management experience across multiple platforms or markets is a plus.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $90,000.00-115,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $75,000.00-95,800.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
