Full Time Unpaid Internship
JOB DESCRIPTION
In the midst of this fast-paced environment, FOX Sports offers paid fall, spring and summer internships to students who are looking to supplement their education with related experience in sports media relations.
We are currently in search of enthusiastic, ambitious interns to assist in the day-to-day activities of the FOX Sports Media Relations office. Major responsibilities include monitoring press coverage of FOX Sports programs and events as well as the creation and distribution of a daily media digest that is utilized by each department within the division. Opportunities to develop communication skills through writing press materials for FOX Sports properties-including the NFL, MLB, NASCAR, UFC, USGA, UEFA, Big Ten, Pac-12-will be made available to the interns. Additional responsibilities may include managing and updating FOX Sports Press Pass, maintaining photo/publicity files, responding to media requests and assisting the department with special projects and events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Communications, Sports Management, Journalism majors/minors preferred.
• Applicants should be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of and interest in FOX Sports properties is desirable as well as social media proficiency.
To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
• Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
