Full Time Unpaid Internship
JOB DESCRIPTION
Description of the department:
Advertising Sales, Marketing, Research and Sales Service Operations for Fox Regional Sports networks and our Partner Regional Sports Networks.
Current projects and tasks that will be assigned to the intern(s):
• Provides sales support by answering phones; posting some orders; writing up new orders;
• Communication with buyers, agency assistants, sales managers and Traffic
• Creates regular and ad hoc Excel reports in support of the sales function
• Input orders, resolve discrepancies, file orders and process make-goods
• Provide outstanding communication with the external clients as well as the Sales Team
Learning objectives:
Interns will learn to how to build and service advertising schedules using syndicated research tools and proprietary software tools. Interns will be able to develop their verbal and written communication skills, learn how to develop and maintain good working relationships and learn how to work in a team environment.
To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Previous work experience in an office environment preferred.
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
• Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
