JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Sports is looking for a Freelance Social Media Producer to lead UFC coverage. Primary responsibilities for this position include producing and optimizing digital/social content for FOX Sports social handles, app, and website.
Responsibilities
• Content: Creation, distribution and optimization of content across FS.com page 1, FSAPP, and FS social handles with talent specific to that content, and with social and video teams across Sport teams; build repeatable models that can be implemented at scale.
• Sales: Work closely with sales team on ideation of content for campaigns, and work with team to execute campaigns.
• Production: Social and digital content production and distribution, including the ability to produce video and graphical content in real-time to cover live sporting events and live television programming
• Data: Use data to tell stories; develop audiences and judge performance and share information in a concise and effective way across teams.
• Platforms: Use expert knowledge of what works on all digital platforms to program platforms effectively
• Cross-functional relationships: Build and maintain relationships across a variety of groups including senior executives, sales, marketing, programming, digital, linear, studio and other sport teams.
Qualifications
• 1-5 years of Cable/TV production and/or Digital Production experience preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively with talent, athletes, team managers, event staff, outside producers and all other persons involved with productions. Should have a command of production terminology and procedures.
• Must be knowledgeable on Mac and with video editing tools and the Adobe Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc); experience working with data tools (i.e., Spredfast, Crowdtangle, Sharablee, platform analytics tools) to create content strategy, and experience working with digital platforms, including owned and operated platforms and 3rd party platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube)
