Full Time Job
We are seeking a Senior Director of Content Operations to join our team in Playa Vista, CA. You will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, executions and reporting that maximizes value, both delivered and extracted, behind the content produced, distributed and monetized by FOX Sports across Digital and Social. This includes, but is not limited to, how FOX Sports Digital works to maximize content opportunities in collaboration with Sales & Sports Brand Partnerships, Marketing, PR, strategic platforms, leagues and other partners.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developing a highly effective, efficient and trust-worthy relationship between Content and Sales/Sports Brand Partnerships
• Sponsorship and internal campaign fulfillment and reporting
• Strategic analysis and consultation for how to position content team to maximize extraction of value in the future
• Oversee a team that manages the branded content, sponsored content, marketing and PR pipelines to content, all to ensure seamless execution of organically and paid campaigns
• Responsible for daily management of pre-sold and sold executions including collaborating with Sales and Producers to ideate monetizable opportunities, respond to RFP's, prepare both sides for upcoming sold campaigns, live assistance in fulfillment of campaigns, and post-campaign reporting, including collaboration with Research and various data partners
• Serve as the barrier between all Marketing and PR requests and manage teams towards best practices and strategies for mutually beneficial cross-departmental promotions - this team will include roles that utilize boosting for Audience Development, but also fulfillment of targeted audience quotas for sold campaigns
• Serve as a thought-leader in new platforms, audience development, branded content, and industry trends
• Lead in identifying and implementing opportunities that enhance collaboration between creative and sales to ensure efficiency and consistent delivery of client needs
• Work closely with Sales, Sports Brand Partnerships, PR, Marketing, as well as fellow FOX Sports Digital departments: Business Development & Partnerships, Social & Short-Form Content Production & Distribution, Talent Production & Storytelling, Editorial and Video Operations
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree business, marketing, content, or relevant field
• Nine plus years' experience in advertising industry with proven experience in digital and social specifically
• Excellent communication skills, ability to manage a diverse set of partners and execute highly visible sales opportunities on tight deadlines
• Ability to think outside the box
• High level understanding of advertising, the media industry, and sales trends
• A thorough understanding of value-mapping Fox Sports digital and social content
• The ability to display the performance-vs.-price choice that our customers and partners face as they evaluate our products/franchises against competitors as well as the ability to articulate our competitive advantages to the Sales and Sports Brand Partnerships teams in order to increase sales chances and future deal sizes
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, operations management systems, analytics tools
