Full Time Job
The Manager of Promo Planning & Strategy is responsible for managing, strategizing and reporting all of the promotional elements that would air in broadcast sporting events on FOX.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the strategy and scheduling of all Sports promotional content, including promo spots and graphic elements, that air on FOX Broadcast logs
• Works in advance to strategically plan out each individual broadcast sport's promo placements and communicate this will all necessary parties within the company
• Collaborates with In-Game team members to strategically schedule in-game elements for all broadcast sporting events
• Manages all promotional inventory in broadcast sports as it pertains to Fox Sports priorities as well as cross channel priorities
• Strategically analyzes historical reporting data to make accurate projections for promo inventory in key Fox Sports events
• Creates back up and contingency logs for all events on broadcast sports
• Works closely with Operations team to define inventory and flight dates of all promotional priorities required to meet marketing objectives in any given week
• Strategically target key demographics for all promo campaigns & monitor proper rotation of promotional inventory across all properties
• Works closely with Commercial Administration, Network Operations, and FOX Broadcast teams to ensure timely delivery of logs and to ensure deadlines are met
• Manages all log changes across the FOX Broadcast Sports, during business hours, after hours and on weekends as needed
• Coordinates and executes cross channel promotional support between other FOX networks
• Manages the scheduling and reporting of all FOX Sports contractual obligations across the FOX broadcast logs
• Accurately schedules and manages all promo inventory within the STBS traffic system
• Maintains up to date database to track and report on all Sports promotional content on FOX Broadcast
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar
• 5 years' experience at a cable or broadcast network, preferably within the On Air Promotions or Marketing Department
• Working knowledge of Nielsen Ratings, Media Planning and experience executing promotional plans
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented with strong critical thinking skills
• Prior experience with GripIt or other media planning system
• Proficient in Excel
• Must be able to respond after hours and on weekends as needed
