JOB DESCRIPTION
The Crew Manager is accountable for implementing policies, procedures, overseeing crewing management in addition to providing budgeting for high profile product on FSP, FS1 & FS2. Weekly reports to VP and Directors.
-Management and oversight of scheduling technical and support personnel for high profile remote productions (including but not limited to NFL, Thursday Night Football, NFL Championships, Super Bowl, MLB, MLB Post Season, MLB All-Star Game, NASCAR, Golf, Soccer, CFB, CFB Championships and College Basketball, as well as other specialty FSP/FS1/FS2 projects)
-Working close with Field Op Technical Management Teams AND Production teams to ensure their requirements are met for technical personnel on every assigned event or package under VP or Directors.
-Manage, leverage and schedule crew across country.
-Utilizing FACTS-crewing/payroll event management program (a Fox proprietary system) to administer efficient crewing practices.
-Knowledge of basic Federal & State Laws in addition to National and Regional CBA's to provide accurate work rules & costs to VP and/or Directors as requested.
-Projecting crew costs as requested by Manager.
-Creating Grids and templates to be reviewed by Technical Ops, Technical Producers and Crewing Dept. Heads.
-Continue to create department workflow efficiencies to ensure most effective systems in place for continuity, accuracy, details and checks and balances.
-Provide direction and work close with Sr. Coordinators and admins on travel schedules, approvals.
-Follow up with and review all Producer/Director reports on assigned events and/or packages.
-Travel to meetings and/or on-site events as needed.
