The Highlights Coordinator for Fox Sports Marketing gathers & catalogues highlight footage, shoot material and other media utilized in the execution of Fox Sports' On-Air Promotional Campaigns. This includes collecting and maintaining video records of sports footage on FOX/FS1/FS2 as well as from various external networks and other partners. Plays a key role in the collection, organization, and distribution of the Fox Sports Marketing Department's footage library.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Log sports highlights and gather all of the footage/media used in promos, sales reels, and other related marketing campaigns for FOX Sports Promos
• Distribute/deliver footage and media to both in house and external teams as required
• Collect and maintain video records of sports game footage from the various networks and also execute special requests from Stock Footage libraries or online entities such as Getty Images, AP, Shutterstock and more
• Field and prioritize footage requests from creatives/producers and work closely with Charlotte, NC highlights group as needed to facilitate those requests
• Ensure footage is kept available and organized in their respective footage libraries for Fox Sports Promo editors and properly organized and archived by working directly with Avid Assistant Editors
• Maintains the Promo Department's internal digital library featuring current and historical promotional campaigns
• Coordinate the collection and ingest of FOX Sports Promo shoot material with internal Post Production Operations/Engineering teams and Assistant Editors to ensure all media is transcoded, ingested and archived within required timeframes
• Additional coordinator support to Fox Sports Marketing Post Production group as required
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelors degree in Broadcast television, Media Communications, Marketing, or Advertising
• Minimum 1 years experience in Broadcast television, cable or production/design company
• The ability to multitask and work effectively under daily time constraints in a high pressure environment is also required
• A general knowledge of sports is necessary
• Knowledge of editorial systems (ie: Adobe Premiere, AVID) and Media Management Systems (ie: Dalet) is a plus
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail are needed. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Explorer is required
