JOB DESCRIPTION
The position is responsible for producing segments and elements on a daily show on FS1. Duties include contributing to the content of the program, pitching ideas, script writing, and video editing. In addition, the position requires strong personal skills, vast sports knowledge and experience in sports television production.
Responsibilities
• Video editing.
• Contributing to overall creative input of the show
• Overseeing Production Associates assisting in the various pieces being produced for the edits, etc.
• Right hand person to Coordinating Producer and Producer when producing show content and segments.
• Executes their vision and plan to put the best possible product on the air.
• Works directly with talent for content and creative vision from their standpoint.
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree. Previous work experience as a Production Associate, Broadcast Associate, Associate Producer and Producer required for Feature Producer responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as good interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, leadership skills, and strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Explorer are needed.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Demonstrated skill in developing and maintaining effective business relationships is necessary.
• The ability to multitask and work effectively under changing priorities and daily time constraints is required.
