Production Assistant, Cavuto Coast To Coast

We are looking for a passionate Production Assistant to join Cavuto: Coast to Coast. You are a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You have a great sense of communication and are comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will have an interest in news and would like to pursue a career in the television news business. As the Production Assistant, you have a 'good eye' for what leads to the most creative and compelling TV screen

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Find, cut, and organize video elements in the rundown (both independently and with the assistance of Editors)
• Log interviews, news conferences, and other news events
• Research and compile segment packets
• You will be trained to book guests and produce segments

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
• Basic knowledge of newsroom functions
• Familiarity with digital editing platforms
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $17.79-25.00 per hour for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
