How do I hire a Writer / Reporter, Foxnews.Com? JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Writer/Reporter to join the FoxNews.com team! As the Writer/Reporter, you will be responsible for identifying the most compelling Fox Nation content (available on the Fox Nation streaming service) and offering it to the foxnews.com audience in written form. You will write concise headlines that catch the readers' attention and pick the most interesting video clips to accompany the pieces. You will be required to do independent research, fact-checking, and original reporting. As the Writer/Reporter you will also have the opportunity to work with various departments within Fox including the marking and production teams.
You will be offered the following shift: MONDAYS THRU FRIDAYS (8:00 AM-4:00 PM)
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify the most relevant and compelling FOX Nation content
• Write urgent and accurate print articles for FOXNews.com
• Pitch creative story ideas to showcase FOX Nation content
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• At least 1-3 years' experience
• Excellent writing skills and a keen understanding of the audience
• Strong knowledge of current events
• Demonstrated writing skills and close attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly, accept constructive criticism and engage with manager
• Flexibility in schedule
