How do I hire a Marketing Social Media Producer-Fox Nation? JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox Nation, the exclusive, members-only content streaming service provided by Fox News Channel, is seeking a Social Media Producer to lead and execute all owned and paid media campaign initiatives across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube with an eye on growing fans and followers.
As the Social Media Producer, you have strong audience development, consumer/influencer engagement, and content production experience. You are expected to support the delivery of the marketing strategy at pace. You are a self-starter and are able to work independently and as part of a wider, results-driven team. You also have a thorough understanding of social ad buying, social listening, and social analytics tools.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ideate and implement unique paid/targeted social media campaigns across Facebook and Instagram to increase brand awareness and drive subscriptions
• Create and post engaging content for the Fox Nation Facebook and Instagram accounts, including short videos, quote pictures, Instagram stories and Facebook lives
• Lead Fox Nation's YouTube strategy, from clipping compelling video to tagging content, as well as writing SEO-friendly engaging headlines
• Plan, manage and implement the social media content calendar in coordination with the Fox Nation production team
• Develop relationships with social media influencers to drive follower growth and subscriptions
• Liaise with various business units, including the Fox Nation production team, events team, the FoxNews.com team and the social media department
• Use data to inform decisions; message social media analytics out to the larger Fox Nation team
• Participate in broader strategic discussions
• Attend occasional field producing at Fox Nation events throughout the country when required
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 2-3 years of experience in social media, audience development or digital marketing
• Excellent writing and self-editing skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Successful track record executing paid social campaigns
• Experience editing images and video (Adobe Photoshop skills preferred)
• Excellent knowledge and high level of interest in news and current events
• A good understanding of content marketing and content strategy
• Flexibility to travel to Fox Nation summits and sponsorship events
