JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a proactive and organized individual to provide administrative support to the Executive Vice-President of Marketing and Audience Development. We will rely on you to be a team player and an integral part of the team. You will work independently, take initiative and exercise sound judgment in a fast pace environment. In addition to managing all administrative tasks, you will interact with a diverse group of both internal and external stakeholders at all levels within and out of the organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for marketing and has a desire to work and learn about the news business.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments and process expense reports
• Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the EVP, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature
• Prioritize conflicting needs and handle matters expeditiously and proactively
• Follow-through on projects to successful completion
• Perform special projects as assigned
• Screen incoming calls, prepare and/or review confidential memos, correspondence, business updates, meeting notes and PowerPoint presentations
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 2-4 years of administrative experience
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Superior time management skills with the ability to prioritize large workloads
• Flexibility to take direction with ease
• Sound judgment and critical thinking abilities
• Self-motivated nature and ability to take initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
• A Positive ''Can Do'' attitude
• Bachelor's degree preferred
