Full Time Job
We are looking an experienced Contract Administrator to manage the tracking of critical contractual dates and ensure payments are timely processed. We're looking for someone with an eye for detail and someone who can work in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review, analyze and interpret, without supervision, all material deal points in all Fox agreements for scripted and unscripted programming, including financial commitments, rights, dates, production entities, talent fees, scheduling restrictions, etc. to determine how to track pertinent information accurately in Fox's database
• Review and analyze all invoices from producers, studios, talent agencies, verifying accuracy, due dates and all related back-up information
• Ensure payments are timely and accurately processed so producers and studios are properly funded
• Prepare all license payment summaries for scripted and unscripted programming
• Create various reports and summaries of all material deal terms including rights, scheduling limitations, financial commitments, development statutes, cost and deal point comparisons, etc. to assist negotiations of all Fox Business Affairs executives and for financial analysis
• Ensure executive approval for all programming financial obligations, coordinating with Finance to ensure costs are budgeted and tracked
• Manage and oversee the research and analysis of critical production dates for all of Fox's scripted programming, including discussions with production, studio business affairs and Fox current executives to determine pre-production, shooting, commencement, completion and other key production dates
• Negotiate payment schedules and cash flows with producers, business affairs and finance
• Negotiate with producers, business affairs and finance personnel audit settlements for various productions for scripted and unscripted programs
• Review, analyze and interpret all contractual expirations, agreement milestones, informing executives of any talent, rights and clearance deadlines
• Track delivery materials for Fox-owned programming; coordinate with producers to obtain any/all missing contractual obligated delivery materials
• Prepare reports related to program rights, talent deals, financials and provide deal summaries for meetings, financial analysis and negotiations
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelors' degree and at least three years of experience in a similar Contract Administration role
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Foxpro Database, Filemaker Pro, Outlook, Livelink
• Independently prioritize, organize, coordinate and handle multiple tasks with set deadlines
• Excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills
