Executive Director, Post Production and Technology

Full Time Job
We are looking for an Executive Director, Post Production and Technology to join our Fox Entertainment banner to build the post production and technology unit for the FOX Entertainment group. You will have the opportunity to lead dynamic teams that support all post production services and also manage post production operations and engineering teams. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality viewer experience to millions of viewers across FOX networks, digital platforms, mobile applications, websites, and licensing partnerships. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Post Production
• Manage brilliant teams responsible for media preparation for on-air distribution
• Find innovative solutions to business problems
• Design technical workflows and procedures
• Provide technical and creative services to marketing teams
• Select and maintain relationships with third party vendors
• Develop post production Opex and Capex budgets and guides spending
• Participate in strategic initiatives
• Manage programming support including fixes, corrections, closed caption insertion, etc.

Collaboration & Partnerships
• Build new technology solutions together with the engineering teams
• Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues when things go awry
• Collaborate with FOX Corporation's stakeholders to identify and implement a technology roadmap closely linked with business objectives

Performance Improvement
• Promote the use of data to make business decisions
• Track operations dashboards and constantly looks for ways to make things works better, faster, and smoother
• Prioritize the use of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to motivate the team

People Management & Development

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Level & Role Specific Qualifications
• 10+ years managing media production or post production teams
• Strong knowledge of post production editing systems, workflows, media technologies, data centers, and media formats
• Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of media post production, media supply chain, and media operations

General Qualifications
• Technical knowledge of Media Supply Chain, Video on Demand (VOD), and Over the Top (OTT) systems
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
• Ability to translate and communicate business requirements into operational and technical requirements

Preferred Skills
and Experience
• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience in media production or related field
• Knowledge of emerging media technologies such as 4K High Dynamic Range and HDR10+ is a plus
• Knowledge of industry standards such as Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA), Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE)
