Full Time Job
This position supports the EVP of Publicity and Corporate Communications and the SVP of Corporate Communications. The Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities including answering phones, scheduling meetings, booking travel and assisting with publicity and corporate communication projects as requested.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• General administrative support – answer phones, emails, manage busy schedules/calendars, print materials, coordinate meetings both internally and externally, update internal documents, assist in preparation of presentations, book executive travel and create itineraries
• Monitor press outlets and compile publicity breaks
• Assist in creation of media lists
• Manage and order new office supplies as necessary
• Process invoices and onboard/update vendors into the system
• Assist in overseeing department internship program through fall, spring, and summer seasons
• Manage department's budget
• Work with team on development and execution of show premieres, junkets, screenings, Summer/Winter TCA, and annual NY Upfronts
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Strong interest in developing a career within entertainment – there is room for growth and opportunities within
• A college degree is required
• 1-2 years assistant experience is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and Microsoft Outlook
• Agency, network and/or studio publicity and/or marketing experience is preferred
• Exhibit a high-level of professionalism and poise
• Must have mastered communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects
• Strong overall communication skills are important. Must be outgoing, creative and team-oriented
• Must be able to multi-task under pressure and maintain a high level of organization
• Strong written and verbal skills are necessary
