FOX Entertainment's creative music division is seeking an Associate Manager, Creative Music. The Associate Manager, Creative Music, serves as the music production point person for music-intensive studio and network projects and mediates closely between BA, legal, production, and marketing teams to ensure legally sound initiatives and activations.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilitate, manage, and archive music licenses, songwriter agreements, producer agreements, and composer agreements and oversee invoicing and full execution of agreements
• Collaborate with upper management to hire session vocalists and producers on commissioned projects
• Run musicologist meetings with lead BA rep to ensure all original music is legally accounted for and deliver notes as needed
• Liaise with FOX Entertainment scripted and unscripted programming in hiring composers, creating scores, creating sound effects, engaging music producers for theme demos, etc.
• Produce original music and conduct custom compositions and remixes for marketing campaigns
• Scout, develop, and maintain relationships with composers, artists, producers, etc.
• Oversee registration of new songs and compositions, from submission of agreements to supplying mastered audio assets
• Oversee FEM original music initiative including quarterly songwriting camps + custom launch songs for marketing campaigns, oversee quarterly album releases and single drops, coordinate with social media to provide marketing support promoting music
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 2+ years of experience in music-intensive space, specifically in A&R, licensing, music supervision, or music production
• Experience facilitating legal agreements, and interfacing with multiple stakeholders including legal, management, artist representatives, producers, artists
• Knowledge of music licensing/supervision, television production/marketing, music theory, and the recording process
• Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel (preferably MAC savvy) and music cataloging software including iTunes, DISCO, and Sourceaudio
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in an environment with tight turnarounds and deadlines
• Strong communication and research skills
• Be a rockstar team player well-versed in project management as it pertains to music

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $59,500.00-79,500.00 annually for California, Washington, New York City and Westchester County, NY. $49,500.00-66,200.00 annually for Colorado. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
