FOX Entertainment Studios is seeking an experienced Manager to support its Content Operations team. The Manager, Content Operations will track all films and series through pre-production, post-production, and final internal and external delivery, ensuring that all necessary legal motion picture and television series documentation are vetted and approved. The Manager, Content Operations will need to be organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and possess the ability to exercise good judgment and communication.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the incoming legal delivery for motion pictures and television series and conduct an in-depth review of the paper and legal deliverables, including but not limited to:
• Chain of Title – review and analyze to confirm the necessary transfer of rights for applicable exploitation
• Music Agreements - composer agreements, recording/master use, and synchronization/performance licenses to ensure proper compliance with FOX's music requirements for relevant exploitation
• Talent Contracts - review and interpret talent contracts (actor, writer, director, producer, etc.) and related documents to ensure compliance with credit obligations for use in marketing materials and other uses
• E&O Insurance - review E&O certificates and policies to ensure compliance with FOX's requirements (including proper coverage for music, title, distribution in all media, and appropriate policy coverage limits)
• Copyright Registrations – review and advise on
• Guild and Residuals Documents – collect and perform a preliminary review of documents for the Residuals department
• Ensure deliverables are prepared in accordance with third-party client delivery requests
• Communicate with external producers and internal parties regarding the deliverable needs for each project, ensuring received assets are acceptable and on-time
• Manage and build delivery timelines
• Engage with numerous producers to coordinate the workflow of production documentation, routing documents, and information through the appropriate review and approval processes (i.e., feedback on outstanding delivery, rejections, additional information needed)
• Engage with all internal departments (Business and Legal Affairs, Content Ops, Post-Production, Creative, Marketing) to manage internal workflows, ensuring all information and documents are available for downstream activities/servicing needs
• Centralize and organize information and documentation within internal systems
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent relevant work experience
• 2+ years of related experience in feature film and television legal delivery (studio, in-house film production, company or law firm)
• 2+ years of related experience with high-volume production and distribution
• Basic knowledge of guilds and residuals documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task
• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), databases, and file management
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team across various departments
• Ability to prioritize and apply appropriate resources where needed
• Ability to manage multiple projects in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Ability to learn things thoroughly and quickly
• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information to comply with privacy law

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-75,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $55,800.00-62,500.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
