We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Executive Assistant to support Executive Vice President and Head of Government Relations. Sought-for candidate will be a focused and applied professional with strong organizational and administrative skills. Interested candidates should enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support Executive itineraries through research of appropriate accommodations
• Complex calendar management, based on understanding of the teams availability and obligations
• Coordinate with Government Relations team to provide support for communication and engagement activities
• Participate in team meetings to gain a firm understanding of department priorities
• Network and build successful relationships with internal and external clientele
• Source, plan and manage all event planning logistics
• Prepare and process expense reports
• Manage multi-line telephones
• Ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
• 7+ years of experience in an executive assistant role
• Leadership skills in coordinating senior staff on strategic initiatives and work product are a must
• Must be available for a flexible work schedule and travel as needed
• Positive, flexible attitude, and strong creative problem solving skills are a must
• Must be able to multi-task in fast-paced office environment
• Must demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
• Solid understanding of how social and digital media platforms work
• Expertise in logistic management
• Familiarity with Congressional landscape in Washington D.C.
• Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
• Comfort with technology: MAC and PC; mobile software; Microsoft Office Suite
