This is a unique hybrid role that encompasses both design and editing. As the After Effects and Avid Media Composer Editor you have an ear for sound as well as the vision, design aesthetics, and great communication skills to create a high quality product.
*ALL CANDIDATES MUST INCLUDE A LINK AND/OR COPY OF YOUR REEL (YOUR OWN WORK) TO BE CONSIDERED*
YOU MAY BE ASSIGNED THE FOLLOWING SHIFT: MONDAYS thru FRIDAYS 12:00 PM-8:00 PM OR WEDNESDAYS thru SUNDAYS 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST (Breaking News changes all shifts)
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver 2-3 promos daily with a tight turnaround time
Communicate edit and design clearly with producers and editors
Ensure promo spots are executed to the highest quality standards
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
2 to 5 years of relevant experience with After Effects design and editing
High level of expertise in Avid Media Composer
High level of design aesthetics
Proven work experience as a video editor
