Full Time Job
We are looking for a Distribution Assistant to join our Distribution team in New York. Reporting to and supporting our SVP and VP of Marketing Distribution, you will handle the administrative functions and provide crucial support services, such as calendar management and travel arrangements. You will also assist with managing special projects (e.g., organizes involvement with various affiliate events, affiliate entertaining, etc.) as assigned. Responsibilities may also extend to our LA based executives.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide executive support, including, but not limited to, calendar management, arranging travel, managing telephone lines, coordinating appointments and meetings (internally and externally) and processing expense reports
• Provide administrative support, including, but not limited to, sorting mail, filing and copying, composing correspondence and memos, managing contract binders, ticketing distribution & tracking, and troubleshooting technical issues with MIS
• Track and file distribution agreements; track carriage compliance report
• Handle client tick management (Spotlight), DCF tracking (ALFs), launch form submissions and MEDEA data entry
• Handle affiliation agreement process; MVPD channel lineup review and compliance
• Onboard vendors, launch form processing, and handle shipping/premium fulfillment
• Handle special projects and assist the Operations group as needed
• Manage special events, coordinate event venue and client travel as needed/as requested
• Assist with brand point communications and collateral and with asset collection and distribution
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Four year college degree required
• 1-2 years administrative experience handling executive travel, calendar management and other support functions strongly preferred
• Previous cable/entertainment experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; organizational skills
• Familiar/experienced with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word programs
