Vice President, Production | FOX Alternative Entertainment
FOX Alternative Entertainment is looking for a Vice President, Production to join their team! This role will involve managing the financial and production elements of development, specials, pilots, and series, ensuring efficiency and alignment across departments.
Responsibilities:
• Review all budgets for development, specials, pilots, and series
• Monitor potential overages and breakage budgets
• Analyze cost reports for auditable budgets to determine payment advances
• Identify production efficiencies across multi-show operations, including casting
• Review and analyze P&Ls
• Act as a liaison between Business Affairs, programming, and producers
• Liaise with Line Producers and EICs
• Negotiate with producers and implement network notes, suggestions, and budget revisions
• Create budgets and estimates for new shows, including in-house development
• Build relationships with EICs for current and future projects
• Track development budget spends, deadlines, and options
• Manage post-production requests, overages, and extra hours
• Oversee risk budgets
• Coordinate production on in-house development materials (e.g., hiring crews, editors, creative producers)
• Provide relevant production documents to auditors and make recommendations regarding disallowances
• Coordinate production schedules, calendars, and contact sheets for internal and risk team distribution
• Attend show tapings on behalf of the network
• Oversee production binders, including budgets, breakage approvals, and production/post calendars
• Work with production teams to secure tax-friendly locations and manage tax credit processes
• Liaise with unions and guilds to avoid concerns related to production compliance
• Maintain the Alternative Production Calendar

Compensation:
Salary range: $185,500 - $250,000 annually (California-based). This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
