Job Overview
Forward Artist Management is looking for a detail-oriented, tireless professional for a VP of Touring position to report to the President. The right candidate will have a depth of knowledge around arena-level touring specifically and be able to multitask at a high level. Excellent oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as the ability to work mindfully within a team-driven atmosphere and fast paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
The main focus for this role will be to lead internally on touring efforts across clients, including but not limited to budgeting, personnel hiring and interactions with band and crew, sourcing and relaying creative between client and production designer/creative director, and attending shows.
Assist with planning and implementation of marketing and music campaigns broadly across clients.
Liaise with the current Day to Day Manager, Digital Marketing Coordinator and Executive Assistant.
Qualifications
Minimum of four (4) years of experience within a similar role, ideally at management companies.
Should be able to demonstrate past touring experience with venues/tours of all sizes, though arena/amphitheater experience is a must.
Creating and implementing accurate touring budgets is vital to this position.
Should have a competence for broad management duties, label relations, digital service providers, and publisher relations.
Strong proficiency in computer software applications (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Calendar, etc.).
Detail oriented, organized, punctual and accurate
Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality
