Internship Duration: 2-3 months

Fortune Cookie Productions / KEN SAX Photography is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Marketing Intern to assist with the promotion of documentary films, film festival projects, celebrity photography, and entertainment-related content.
This is an opportunity to work directly with an award-winning filmmaker and photographer whose work spans documentary films, television, commercial advertising, and entertainment photography.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with social media content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms
Creating and scheduling posts
Writing captions and helping develop social media copy
Editing photos and short-form video content
Helping promote film festival screenings, photography projects, and special events
Researching social media trends, audience engagement, and marketing ideas
Assisting with creative marketing campaigns
Supporting digital marketing, branding, and audience development efforts
Helping organize content, images, video clips, and promotional materials
Ideal candidates are students interested in filmmaking, directing, producing, writing, photography, marketing, social media, or the entertainment industry.
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, ChatGPT, and other AI-powered creative tools is a plus, but not required. Candidates should be creative, organized, reliable, comfortable working independently, and interested in learning how marketing and social media support film, photography, and entertainment projects.
What You'll Gain:
Interns will gain hands-on experience working on active film and photography projects while learning about content creation, film promotion, festival strategy, branding, audience development, and digital marketing.
Interns will work closely with an experienced industry professional, receive mentorship, build portfolio pieces, strengthen their résumé, and gain insight into both the creative and business sides of the entertainment industry.
College credit is available.
