Search for Production Assistant Engineer jobs in Los Angeles-CA
• Represents the company to clients in company studios or off site at 3rd party studios or at client facilities
• Processing and administration of scripts from clients.
• Editing and noting scripts of internal distribution and actors.
• Organizing scripts, videos and any other relevant materials related to voice over and Motion Capture sessions.
• Making sure office and client service supplies are well stocked and readily available.
• A ssisting the engineer in any and all ways necessary before, during and after recording sessions.
• Fulfilling requests made by clients and relaying any pertinent information to the appropriate parties (engineer, Assets Management), highlighting and communicating any specific concerns
• Transcribing scripts to appropriate formats for use in the studio.
• Maintaining a clean and profession working environment for clients and staff, in all common areas and working facilities.
• Creating a daily work log at the end of each day using the template provided
• Taking lunch and/or breakfast orders when requested
• Assisting in making sure paperwork is executed properly and returned to the appropriate person
• Assisting the engineer in breaking down each day's sessions and setting up for the next day's sessions (This includes, but is not limited to storing equipment, resetting the stage, and general overall cleanliness)
• Checking in with the Assets Coordinator to see if help is needed in checking files or other areas of editorial responsibilities
Ideal candidate is personable yet discreet, efficient, and calm in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
• Must be on-time, 100% of the time
• Knowledge of ProTools and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Interest in video games desired but not required
• Reliable transportation
