Asset Technician Temp

Opportunity:
Formosa Group Interactive is looking for a talented Asset Technician to join the growing team! Come join some of the entertainment industry's leading sound editors, sound designers and music editors, all dedicated to providing cutting-edge, award-winning post-production sound services for film, TV, gaming and commercials!

* This is a remote, full-time TEMPORARY position.

Responsibilities:
Compose emails to clients and internal emails to project supervisors
Deliver files, both internally and externally, ensuring all assets are delivered on time and proactively following up as needed
Transcode video and audio to a myriad of formats
Perform backups and retrieve data from backups
Create and organize Pro Tools sessions
Download and prep session materials for the VO stages
Check edited VO material to ensure quality and consistency

Required Skills:
Good file management skills
Proficiency in Pro Tools
Proficiency in Excel
Familiarity with audio editors like Izotope RX and Wavelab
Familiarity with various video codecs and conversion software
Familiarity with game audio middleware
Familiarity with versioning software
Familiarity with the audio post production pipeline and its various components

Preferred Skills:
Strong ability to conduct effective in-person and email communications
Ability to work both independently and with a team
Ability to prioritize and juggle numerous projects and deadlines within an extremely fast paced and high-volume environment
High level of attention to detail and follow-through
Interest in sound design and dialogue editorial

Qualifications:
High School education or equivalent required.
BA/BS in applicable field preferred.
