As a Flying Classroom Videographer - Editor, you will serve as the creative ambassador on our team. Your eyes and ears are an extension of Captain Irving's vision of how important it is to tell the Flying Classroom story through captivating images and sound.
The Job (Responsibilities):
We are looking for an organized, innovative, creative, and forward-thinking Videographer-Editor to work with our team to plan, film, edit video content according to our briefs, and industry trends and tools that will make our product more marketable. To be successful as a Videographer-Editor in this fast-paced environment, you must be able to understand the scope, employ excellent time-management skills, and work creatively to produce the desired product.
Must have the insights to independently shoot and bring together raw footage and media, and edit these to form videos that are fully ready for viewing
Must be able to select and organize footage, sourcing additional media such as music, performing color grading and cleaning up audio
Must be able to meet brisk deadlines
Must be able to receive critics during review reiterations
Must have finished videos with high standards, aiming for coherent storylines, seamless transitions, visual appeal, and alignment with creative vision
What You Will Need (Qualifications):
Experience using various cameras and editing software (including GoPro and Drones)
Experience with various audio equipment and audio mixing for proper set-up and usage
Experience with setting up the proper lighting of a subject or set design
Experience with working with diverse people and high-profile clients
Experience with domestic (government ID) and international travel (passport) with appropriate videography equipment and supplies
Experience creating a video product from inception, implementation, and to completion with minimal supervision
