How do I hire an Intern - TV/ Film Production Company? Flame Ventures, a Beverly Hills-based production company, is currently looking for interns. Our executive producer is Tony Krantz whose credits include MULHOLLAND DR., TWIN PEAKS (ABC), ER (NBC), THE WEST WING (NBC) 24 (FOX), DRACULA (NBC), BLOOD & OIL (ABC), WU ASSASSINS (Netflix) and the upcoming DANGEROUS LIASONS (Starz) - just to name a few. We currently have a first-look deal with Anonymous Content and Paramount Television. This is an internship for school credit.
Please see below all the pertinent details about the position:
Spring Internship 2020 (roughly January - May)
Offices are located in Beverly Hills - 8820 Wilshire Blvd, Penthouse - 4th Floor, Beverly Hills, CA 90211. We share offices with another production company, Chronology, led by writer Eric Heisserer.
Hours are roughly 9:00 AM - 6 PM with a 1-hour lunch break from 1 PM - 2 PM. Candidates must be able to work at least two days a week. We are flexible with school schedules.
Responsibilities include heavy script coverage, general office tasks, research projects, maintaining the kitchen/supply rooms etc. Interns are encouraged and required to sit in on weekly creative meetings and meet one-on-one with Executives. This is a unique and very hands-on opportunity for anyone looking to pursue a career in entertainment. At Flame, we believe good ideas can come from anywhere and we expect and encourage our interns to be sending us ideas and contributing creatively. This internship will teach you and prepare you to become a successful assistant anywhere in Hollywood. We also are very supportive and happy to be professional references on your resume when applying to future jobs.
