We are looking for Fall '26 interns to assist our Development team in the acquisition and development of relevant stories for television and film. An ideal candidate is pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in TV & Film, Journalism, Communications, or a related subject. They have a passion for all things media and entertainment, maintain exceptional organizational skills, and have outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities. Experience with filmmaking (through school or experience) as well as interest in the business of film & knowledge of film industry players is preferred.
This position is remote and has a commitment of 10-15 hours a week. A minimum of 3 months is required, starting in early September and concluding in mid-December.
Responsibilities include reviewing creative materials and providing strong written feedback to Development executives:
• Participating in a weekly zoom conference call with Development & Production executives to discuss script coverage
• Researching publishing sites, media blogs, etc. for potential project ideas and trending topics
• Assisting executives with various research projects
• Helping build out FirstGen's development operating processes
Salary/Benefits
The position is unpaid, and college credit is available upon request.
