Essential Functions
•Answers, evaluates and prioritizes sales requests received via telephone, voice mail, e-mail, chat and in-person for all customers and sales leads
•Performs minor diagnostics with user to collect information about problem to determine source of error
•Isolates performance issues to determine problem root cause - such as internal CRM, verification and accounting software, and telephone lines.
•Tests new website sales portals
•Logs and tracks calls using CRM and maintains history records and related problem documentation
•Records resolution information in help desk knowledge management database
•Performs sales demos online and at screenwriting conferences, meetups and events
•Some knowledge of screenwriting, production, budget and sales forecast preparation will be helpful
•Perform other job-related duties as required
Technology and Systems Knowledge
•Proficient with basic usage of BOTH Windows and MAC Operating Systems. IOS knowledge is also desired, but not required
•Excel, MS/Office Word, Outlook experience is required.
•Final Draft screenwriting software is ideal, but NOT required.
•General computer skills and data entry abilities required.
Communications
•Excellent oral and written communication.
•Comfortable in group or small team settings, with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical users.
Relationship Building
•Builds excellent working relations with all Sales colleagues and customers, works effectively with department and executive management, and maintains a professional relationship with all external Final Draft clients
Business Acumen and Process Knowledge
•Demonstrates a continually growing knowledge of Company's internal business practices, processes and the screenwriting software needs of the users.
Requirements
•Associates or equivalent coursework is recommended, Bachelor's degree preferred.
•Minimum 2 years of sales, customer service or end-user support experience required,
•Occasional availability for after-hours or weekend support required
•Experience in Screenwriting, Filmmaking or general Entertainment Industry a plus.
*Bilingual in Hindi, Panjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Chinese, or Spanish desirable but not required.
Physical Demands
•SEDENTARY - Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull. Involves sitting in ergonomic chair with lumbar support most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
